State of the article[edit]

Expanded it a bit today, added some references, rewrote parts. Not sure of the best headings to use (e.g. "political significance" -- if its content should just be folded into "History"). I held off adding any information on specific programs because the sources I've seen are all local (Portsmouth Herald, mainly), and without more than that I think WP:N and WP:V become problematic. If anyone knows of other sources, I do think a few of its shows have attracted sufficient national attention to mention. Posting a couple links that may be helpful below:

looks good... I didn't know that there was so much opposition to it's founding (ie Radio Preservation Act). I can't comment on how much national attention any programs might have gotten but LP radio seems like something that is meaningful in the context of discussions of "alternative media" or "democratization of media" so hopefully the page is viable as a standalone entry.
