Rationale for deletion of disambiguation page[edit]

Per the WP:Disambig page, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the acronym for an extension to the Windows Driver Model is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the extension. - Dravecky (talk) 19:49, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just got here looking for Windows Management Instrumentation Command Line by searching for WMIC. While it isn't a huge deal that I had to use the hat note to get there, it just seems more intuitive to me to have the Windows article be the primary article, since it is a much more global subject than radio station call letters, since radio stations are primarily just of local interest. I would suggest that we consider swapping them.

From WP:Disambig:

"A topic is primary for a term, with respect to usage, if it is highly likely—much more likely than any other topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term."

Fair use rationale for Image:WMIC-AM.jpg[edit]

Image:WMIC-AM.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
