HD Radio Statement[edit]

The article stated: The station was among the first in Ohio to begin broadcasting using the HD Radio format. However FCC records dispute this. According to WKKY's [CDBS record] the first digital notification was filed on July 31, 2007. A CDBS search reveals that at least 40 other stations in Ohio were in HD before WKKY was. (The search criteria was from 01/01/2003 - 12/31/2006). So while WKKY is transmitting in HD, they are hardly one the first under anyones standards.
