I live about 40 miles from this station's transmitter and hear nothing during the day. Apparently on Radio Lineup, users of that site also report that the station is off the air. Is this worth mentioning in this article in any capacity?

FCC documents show the station currently on the air. Now, I'll check the station again in the morning when it's not at 60 watts. I'll also check it via the SDR in Warrenton. But, everything I'm currently seeing shows it's still on the air. A bulletin board site is not a reliable source. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:17, 1 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Little late here, but better late than never. I heard it was either two things, that their operating license expired and the FCC had shut them down and/or there was a major storm that knocked out the Transmitter. Qutlooker (talk) 01:34, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I never got back to this one, but I can confirm that WKCW is broadcasting (as of this post), playing a classic hits format. At 10p EST, I'm not hearing any DJs, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. But, they are, indeed, on the air. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 02:04, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
