Article name[edit]

I have moved this article from WMMP-TV to WMMP. Consensus on both WP:NC#Broadcasting and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television Stations#Article names is that the article name should reflect the actual call letters of the TV station. As can be seen here: [1] the call letters for this station are in fact WMMP. Fair use rationale for Image:WMMP-TV.jpg[edit]

Image:WMMP-TV.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Oppose as proposed. "WCIV" should become a disambiguation page. Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom is also "WCIV". "WCIV (former)" is quite poor disambiguation (no indication of subject scope, can include any former WCIV in any field). Suggest instead WCIV (Howard Stirk Holdings), indicating the current owner. WWMP would then move to WCIV (Sinclair Broadcast Group) or possibly WCIV-TV -- 65.94.171.225 (talk) 04:17, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WMMP → WGWG – On March 11, 2015, according to the FCC query, WMMP in Charleston, SC, changed its callsign to WGWG. Csworldwide1 (talk) 19:29, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
