Citadel LMA[edit]

This station had been operated under a lease (LMA) by Citadel Broadcasting. As part of their Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, Citadel chose to terminate the lease, which ended August 1, 2010. The programming previously carried on WNOX-FM has moved to Citadel's own WOKI-FM.69.37.68.72 (talk) 02:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Explaining my edits[edit]

I have a tendency to forget article talk pages even exist unless the article has been tagged with something that links to the talk page.

So here goes. This should have been done earlier.

I was under the impression that WNOX was not only moving its programming, but also its call letters. It would be unusual not to do both, but not unheard of. I have since removed the section heading about the simulcast and frequency change as it's not particularly notable now.

I made some minor changes because they "looked better".

One of my recent edits restored some information I felt was essential in understanding just what happened. WNOX made a change because it dropped a lot of syndicated programming. True, it's still news/talk, but if you want to understand what happened, this needs to be made clear.

And, of course, their success depends a lot on the hiring of one of the top DJs in the market. That's just an opinion but I'm sure one shared by many. The man's experience needs to be mentioned.

A couple of people told me there was too much information on the change so I looked carefully and decided some of the information was not absolutely essential since it's covered elsewhere.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 21:58, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on WCYQ. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
