Merge discussion[edit]

This article has been tagged with a merger proposal since December 1997. The discussion, at the KCCV-FM talk page, has not been active for quite some time, and it's clear that no consensus had developed to complete the merger at the time.

Given that this station has history predating its current network ownership, I think it's reasonable to assert that the station has notability independent of the network and can sustain its own article. It still needs fleshing out — in fact, I believe much of the content at WAMB should properly be included in this article instead — but I'm going to be bold in the meantime and remove the merger tag. The station's long history outside the network plus the frankly bizarre circumstances that allow it to operate WCRT-FM1 are sufficient to leave this station its own article as there is more to it than just another repeater of a religious network. - Dravecky (talk) 21:09, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
