"i think that women should have had the right to vote hundreds of years before they got it."

The preceeding article states "Less true was his assumption that he would live to see it." I would like to know then, why in the Mark Twain main article does it mention that he was waiting for Hayley's comet to coincide with his death? If you consider the two statements, you would have to assume he was anticipating two seperate death scenarios. Can anyone justify the comment "Less true was his assumption that he would live to see it."? Otherwise it is an unfounded statement and of no use in this content.
