Incorrect information[edit]

The VPL did not merge with the American Birth Control League. According to this http://what-when-how.com/birth-control/voluntary-parenthood-league-birth-control/, After failing to get federal legislation to alter Comstock laws, Dennett resigned and the organization greatly reduced its activities. There was a presence in the VPL office until as late as 1940. The ABCL merged with the Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau to become the Birth Control Federation of American, later Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
