In Australia, there was a fine line embroidery paint fad in the 1970s called Hobbytex which was along the same lines of and possibly even related, to Vogart. It was such a huge thing in Australia but has now all but died. But there is still a Hobbytex company here, which has been going since 1969 - now in a much smaller form with far fewer paint colours. Actually, sorry about this - I've just realised that the US equivalent of Hobbytex was probably Artex embroidery paints. Squawkingalah (talk) 08:23, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
