Classical Vocalions???[edit]

The article doesn't say a single word about Vocalion's many important classical recordings by renowned artists many of whom recorded for no other company!

Are you talking about the US version, or the British version? Both issued classical recordings, but I believe the British branch was much more active on that front. I have a Red album with gold/white and black label: (Top in black square in a Baroque font:)...Vocalion...

(the 'a' in Vocalion has a stamped '2' and '6' above it, without the quote marks) (In the white box with gold trim, below:)... U.S. $ .75 ... Canada $ .85 ... (with the catalog # underneath:) ... A14287 ...

(title underneath:) ... MOON RIVER -- Waltz ... [underneath that in ( ) :] ... (David) ... (under that:) ...

Played by THE BAR HARBOR ... (under that:) ... SOCIETY ORCHESTRA ... (under that box, in black area:) ... (copyright symbol) THE AEOLION COMPANY 1921 ... < There are no other names.> The other side is titled: THREE O"CLOCK IN THE MORNING -- Waltz ... (Robledo) ... (the 'a' in Vocalion has a 3 O above it...The catalog # is: B14287... We have lots of old Albums like this. They are of varying labels. Thanks for the info on the company changes. Very helpful.
