Possible death[edit]

In order to include information regarding the death of an individual, it must be verifiable via reliable sources. There is no rush to add the information using wordpress blogs and such - if and when the information becomes available via vetted sources (media outlets and vetted outlets), then the article can be updated to reflect the information. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:43, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be ridiculous. This blog is from the official site of the Edward Lear Society. Deb (talk) 18:54, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
... written by "Marco Graziosi" who heard it from "Charles Lewsen" ... I'm surprised that an admin is so unsupportive of the Wikipedia policy WP:BLOGS. WWGB (talk) 00:05, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Get your act together. It's clear from the context that it's an official notice of her death. You can't expect it to be in the newspapers until at least the weekend. Your conduct at present shows a lack of respect for the subject of the article. Deb (talk) 08:08, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"Some news outlets host interactive columns they call blogs, and these may be acceptable as sources so long as the writers are professional journalists or are professionals in the field on which they write and the blog is subject to the news outlet's full editorial control." Which it is. Deb (talk) 08:12, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Such haste to obituarise a friend, too sad. Please direct me to the so-called "professional journalists". WWGB (talk) 11:38, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean the "professionals in the field in which they write", ie. the academics and professional authors who run the page? I guess you are not British or you would understand that the phrase "A Blog of Bosh" is ironic and used in the context of Edward Lear scholarship. If you object to anything about it, it should be the word "bosh". Deb (talk) 10:27, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Works[edit]

She also published a volume of writings inspired by W1. I can't give details, but it would be good to have it mentioned. Seadowns (talk) 10:38, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think you mean Voices of Silence so I'll add it. Deb (talk) 11:17, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
