Intro misrepresents reference 3.[edit]

"Vital Signs" is a song by progressive rock trio Rush from their 8th studio album Moving Pictures. The lyrics of the song are about individuality and the pressures of conforming.[3]

I tracked down the reference in the interview:

Q. Is "Vital Signs" about individuality or pressures to conform or what? ... A. Yes.

It was an open ended question that Neil responded to with a yes or no answer. Anyone who's seen Neil interviews can judge for themselves what his answer really means. I'll just say that some people don't like simple minded questions. Needless to say, I have serious doubts that this reference backs the assertion for what the lyrics are about.

The song itself, based entirely on the lyrics, is about the internal EXPERIENCES during the process of human interaction and realization of what it will take, internally, to be able to collaborate. Whether the person is being pressured in any unusual way or whether they feel that their individuality is being threatened, I cannot say with any certainty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcordone (talkcontribs) 14:04, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
