Vicomte[edit]

in the 2004 movie, it is vicomte.... is there a difference? 130.13.97.147 (talk) 20:43, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No difference. Viscount is the English version, vicomte is the French version. Same title. Sailorknightwing (talk) 04:37, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

North Pole expedition[edit]

Raoul is a member of the navy. In a month, the ship he is stationed with is scheduled to leave on a rescue operation to try to retrieve a polar expedition that's gone missing. He was planning to do this before he even knew Erik existed, his mission is nowhere described as "suicidal," and in fact I think it's only every brought up during their "play engagement," when he threatens *not* to go. So, can somebody give a source for the statements in the article? I'd just remove them, but since I've only ready the Leroux novel, I don't know if the editor who put them in got them from the musical or the Kay book or something.Deadlyhair (talk) 02:58, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
