TV3 Group[edit]

While the name TV3 Group was coined by TV3 it was never an official name. I question the use of the name since it is legally known as TV3 Television Network Ltd.

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that TV3 Group be merged into Virgin Media Television. I think that the content in the TV3 Group article is best suited to Virgin Media Television due to the rebranding of TV3 Group in August 2018.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Nua eire (talkcontribs) 21:38, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 4 September 2018[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

– This is now the only company in existence called "Virgin Media Television". The former company no longer exists, not even as Living TV Group anymore. • Support not based on what the OP said, but based on the fact that none of the entries in the dab page are even named that. The dab page should probably be deleted as well. As a side note, the current title was not even titled correctly per WP:NCBC --Gonnym (talk) 08:10, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Gonnym: Virgin Media Television (2007–10). What would be the correct title, in your view, per WP:NCBC? wbm1058 (talk) 02:07, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If the title needs disambiguation (which I don't think it does), the correct title for a "network" (which the lead says this is) would be "Virgin Media Television (Irish TV network)". --Gonnym (talk) 11:29, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Both as VMT is under AFD nomination at the moment and that I see no reason for a pagemove at all. VMT existed in the past in the UK during our existence, and the point of DABs is to play traffic cop and help get people to the proper article. Clock should be stopped on this discussion until the end of the AFD. Nate (chatter) 18:34, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Ambiguous with Virgin Media Television (2007–10), which has a much longer history under the name. Wkikpedia covers things historically, RECENTISM is a bias to avoid. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:58, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
