Glitch[edit]

Something's wrong with the image on this page, there's a big red text link instead of a nice, green picture.

P.S. Does the Exiles Susan Richards Madame Hydra count for this page?

Move??[edit]

Since she is more commonly known as Viper, shouldn't she be moved to Viper (Madame Hydra) especially since Madame Hydra is a title. StarSpangledKiwi 21:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And since this is an article about that specific character, should the fact that someone else is Madame Hydra now be getting two paragraphs? Darquis (talk)

Real name[edit]

The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Hardcover #12 confirms that her real name is "Ophelia Sarkissian". Wasn't sure how to add this to the article, so I decided to mention it here. Khajidha (talk) 18:53, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic origins[edit]

I was brought here by a conversation at WikiProject Comics, and I find both recent versions of this problematic.

  1. You can not assume one's ethnicity from a last name. There are other ways to end up with a last name besides bloodline heritage, and even when it is bloodline heritage, it may reflect just a tiny fraction of one's bloodline.
  2. Linking a name to an ethnicity using sources that are not specifically talking about Madame Hydra is textbook synthesis, which is forbidden.
  3. The sources being used are not reliable sources anyway - see WP:ANCESTRY.COM.
  4. The claim that her ethnicity is not covered in any of the comics is not sourced, and thus is itself original research

As such, I am removing all discussion of her ethnicity from the article. Please do not re-add until we have a reliable source discussing it. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:24, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
