Untitled[edit]

the racist statement in this article that Vietnamese are 'people of drugs' and like grow marijuana needs to be replaced with facts. Thanks Hmains 06:03, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

I have assessed this as Start Class, as it contains more detail and organization than would be expected of a Stub, and of low importance, as it a highly specific topic within Canada. Cheers, CP 14:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

151,410 [1]

That's from 2001, and I imagine it'd be quite a bit larger now. Heck, there's probably 150k in Vancouver alone nowadays. Is there a more recent number available?

From the article:

"Regions with significant populations British Columbia, Prairie Provinces, Ontario, Quebec"

That's not terribly specific is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.222.190 (talk) 22:24, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the Business section, one can read: "Since Nov 2006, Mr. Ngo Van Tan has started a daring project to promote and build the first Vietnam Town in Canada called Vietnamville near metro Jean Talon including St-Denis, Jean Talon, St-Hubert and Belanger streets with over 130 businesses already opened in the area. Investment opportunities in Vietnam Town are open to Vietnamese worldwide.

Doesn't this sounds like an advertisment?!! And for free at that!!!
