I assume it was named after Queen Victoria, but it says it was built in the 1970s? Did the president build this to commemerate the Queen?--Bezuidenhout (talk) 19:03, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I tried looking for clues of why it was named Victoria Dam. Yet I haven't come across a single area where it linked Queen Victoria. Probably it was named after someone else... Regards. Rehman 02:55, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
