Pronunciation of his name[edit]

Dating from the days when his music was sometimes performed on Children's radio, the Received Pronunciation version of his name used a very long "ee" sound, as in "Healey". However, of later I have often heard a short "eh" sound used, as in "Helly". If anyone knows how he pronounced it himself, could they please advise, so we can sort out the correct phonemic script to annotate it. With thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.219.67.181 (talk) 02:15, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
