The article states "Vaile shrewdly built his wealth by investing in several business ventures, including the construction of the Erie Canal", yet the canal was completed in 1825, six years before he was born. @Saratoga Sam: Thanks for the catch. The source actually says "interests in the construction of the Erie Canal," which seems to make more sense. Markhole (talk) 09:34, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
