T.A.A. reference reinstated.[edit]

Earlier in this page's history, a reference to the use of the song in advertising by T.A.A. (Trans Australia Airlines) was wrongly removed and replaced with Trans World Airlines. I cannot comment on whether T.W.A. used the song (a quick Google search seems to show that they did); but I can state from personal knowledge (as an Australian) that T.A.A. did, and so I have reinserted the reference, while leaving the mention of T.W.A. in also.

Sesame Street[edit]

This song was part of a scene in the Sesame Street, "sung" by the puppets in 1972. I don't have any more information, yet except this one http://members.tripod.com/Tiny_dancer/ssalbums.html But maybe this could be added to the cultural references.

Sunshine Company[edit]

On the Wiki page for the Sunshine Company it says they are the first to sing this song, they're not even mentioned here.24.94.251.19 (talk) 20:48, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That is an uncited claim in The Sunshine Company article (I added a cn). Both versions were released in 1967 although it is not immediately clear which version was released first or which version was "recorded" first (the wording used in the Sunshine Company article). But they did record the song so I added it to this article. --hulmem (talk) 04:24, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nancy Sinatra[edit]

I have a memory from my childhood of someone else having done this song and my grandparents having the 33. I'm not sure it its Nancy Sinatra or not, but she did apparently do a version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FfyVkKxO7w — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.156.197.29 (talk) 23:19, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
