This page sucks[edit]

It's very poorly written. Someone fix it. love, me —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.253.53 (talk) 05:13, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could this page use a rewrite, or possibly deletion?[edit]

I would be willing to rewrite/edit this page into something useful, but as I'm very new to wikipedia, I'd like to know if this could possibly be a candidate for deletion as well, as the term is pretty much self-defining, and could easily be condensed into a paragraph-long section in the "Record Labels" page or something.

Apologies if this discussion is of an incorrect format, I'm new to this.

Need to delete "Notable" listing[edit]

A general article is alright. But the list that we have is very much doubtable. There is no documentation of how "notable" some of the acts are. This is an open invitation for just anybody to add any artist he/she wants and that's what's happening. Just delete any specific listing and keep a general article. werldwayd (talk) 14:24, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm inclined to agree. The other problem is all too often an artist may be on a label for a bit, then self-release something, then go back to a label, etc, requiring almost constant tidying of the section. I'd say rather than delete it entirely, keep it as a few notable names that have charted somewhere (thus notability) and have never signed. UniNoUta (talk) 15:26, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
