Hi, the history of printing types is a hobby of mine. The original image did not at all look like a book printed in 1737, it seemed to use Didone type in the style introduced at the start of the nineteenth century. I wonder if one of the reprints could have reprinted the original title page as an internal page. Searching on Commons I found the image I've substituted it with, which I believe to be authentically the original book. You'll see it has the rougher style of printing and Dutch taste fonts of the early eighteenth century. Blythwood (talk) 10:58, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
