Removing ‘Main’ template from each state presidential election article[edit]
The documentation of the ‘Main’ template explains that the template should not be used in lead sections. Despite this, it seems to be used in nearly every lead section of articles in the ‘[YEAR] United States presidential election in [STATE]’ format, which may number above 2000 if every presidential election has a Wikipedia article for each U.S. state which had existed at its time. I removed the template from a few articles before realizing the extent of this issue. How should the remainder be removed? –Gluonztalkcontribs 14:36, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
