Talk:United Netherlands (organization)

I just moved this article from United Netherlands and redirected United Netherlands to Dutch Republic. Per WP:PT, Dutch Republic's 1000 daily views shows that it is the obvious primary topic for the name "United Netherlands"; this organization only gets about 30 views daily, so it is a secondary topic and therefore has been moved to this name. If there are links to this page from other articles, I would suggest updating them. Almost all relate to the Dutch Republic (and there are a lot), and I don't feel like weeding through. The main author of this article would know better on which articles link here. Any questions, please ask on my user talk. upstateNYer 17:44, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are right, thanks for the update. I redirected the links referring to our organization. Wouter (United Netherlands) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.174.53.121 (talk) 10:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

issues[edit]

As I have stated at the top of this article, I think there are multiple issues with this article. I've edited out phrases like "it was a great honor" and "the conference was a great succes" since they are not neutral. The way text has been copied from their website poses a copyright issue and makes it likely that it the article was written by the organisation itself. It also doesn't link to other wikipedia pages in the style that is requires, and uses the initials of speakers. This is also not the place to go into detail on who somebody is, their respective pages are there to do that. --Vera (talk) 13:56, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
