Colbert Report Significance of "Crumbelievable"[edit]

Even when referenced, edits on the significance of Crmbelievable on the Colbert Report are deleted, I cannot even preview them. Why is that and what can be done about it?

DDR SN 2[edit]

This song was in DDR SuperNova 2 but I couldn't think of a good way to add it to the article. It was a censored version because DDR songs never contain profanity. 99.245.92.47 (talk) 18:56, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Due to the amount of air time that "Unbelievable" has received since its release, it may be responsible for the most profanity ever heard over radio. The constant background vocal during the chorus saying "What the fuck was that," which even appears in the lyrics in the CD booklet, was never edited." When I hear it on the radio, instead of "what the fuck" it just repeats that guy that gos "Ohhh" going "o-o-ohh" over and over again. And I've heard it on several different stations.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.209.29 (talk) 01:28, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have this song, and the disputed line renders as "What the f*cut-off* WAS THAT?! (Was that being very loud). In other words, the "F" word is censored with silence except the "F" itself. I am assuming most radio edits would do the same (the version I have is the same Ive heard my entire life on radio). Thus, I highly doubt the "F" word was ever played over radio. Sorry to dissapoint. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.117.28 (talk) 10:00, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there no mention of INXS covering this song?Steve (talk) 21:52, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am the writer of the song. There is no f-word. The editor in this chain above describes it perfectly. I may need to declare a conflict of interest as I am closely associated with it. I am attempting to provide a citation from a reliable source to add to the main post.

Also INXS did not cover the song. Sometimes INXS gets confused with EMF.

Source of samples[edit]

I think it would be good to specifically identify the sources of the samples. From where, exactly, do the Ohhh!! and WTF was that? and It's Unbelievable samples come from? What performer, what album, what track? The Sanity Inspector (talk) 15:52, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The samples of Andrew Dice Clay are not from the Adventures of Ford Fairlane. They are from his album 'Dice'.

Miscellaneous uses[edit]

Why was the 'Miscellaneous uses' section removed? It did make so much sense. Ofcdeadbeat (talk) 15:08, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Ofcdeadbeat[reply]

Citation for EMF flip side of "Unbelievable" and source of "Ecstasy" rumors/claims[edit]

From the band's website, an interview where the interviewer and Derry, the keyboard player discuss the origins of the claim.

Someone more knowledgeable than me in Wikipedia formatting can construct the proper citation using the link, if it is a valid citation. 199.200.31.194 (talk) 20:48, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unbelievable no F-word[edit]

I realise that Wikipedia considers me to have a conflict of interest as I am the writer of the song but I want to set the record straight that there is no profanity in the song. The sample is "What the (gap) was that".

A very astute editor points this out in the DDR SN2 discussion in this talk

I am attempting to provide a citation for this after guidance by Synthwave.94
