served aboard uss xanthus ar19 in 1959-1960. engineroom had a skinner-uniflow triple expansion reciprocating steam engine.all pumps were also reciprocating.

Updated Infobox[edit]

I updated the Infobox with the newer U.S. Flag-type, and, while doing that, Wikified the rest of the article as was written. The INFOBOX has a place at top where a photo of the ship and a caption can be placed and really look good. Info on the engine (above) was verified and placed in the infobox.
