Untitled[edit]

This article badly needs a re-write. There's plenty of solid information here but its disorganised and could be more clearly written. I'll take a look at it myself as soon as I have time.

Also, very few other articles have links to it so it would be really helpful if users could hunt out appropriate articles and add in links to this one. The information about bank charges is well worth knowing - let's help more people find it. Gruffle Gaw 14:28, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to be a promo for a pressure group, however, the information regarding the issue they are taking action on could be useful, as this is becoming a major issue in the UK. Would suggest rewriting the article to remove references to specific campaign groups (this group is not solely responsible for bringing the issue to the fore, and plenty of other groups will probably make a similar claim to the credit), and moving it to a title that reflects the underlying issue, such as "Default charge controversy" (the title must also remain neutral - "controversy" suggests only that a difference of opinion exists). 81.132.24.17 19:31, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Banks are only one of many organisations that have imposed arguably unlawful charges on their customers. The word bank is not therefore crucial in the context of this articel, although others may find it a useful term for reference.
