Homophobic twitter messages[edit]

I have added some text to say: "In 2014, it was reported that he had "come under fire" following a series of tweets over several years that asked whether followers thought it less embarassing to have, "...a 14yr. It is undue weight and not notable. Do you really think these dumb little offensive comments on Twitter will remain noteworthy for years to come? Wikipedia is not a newspaper or newsblog. STATic message me! 15:22, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Editors please note, homophobic comments made by individuals and which attract media attention are "not notable". If an individual made racist comments then would they be more notable? The amount of longstanding coverage in reliable sources, indicates if the event is notable and has that importance where it needs to be covered. Mel Gibson is a worldwide known famous actor and celebrity. He has a long history of racial outbursts. This subject, is an independent rapper making stupid comments on Twitter. It is not due weight to include such things as if we included every time a rapper said something offensive, these articles would get insanely long. Correct year of birth/date of birth/age[edit]

A Wikipedia editor just used this as a source: https://twitter.com/NYPDnews/status/735968411361120257 (says Troy Ave is 33)
