Title vs infobox[edit]

The title says "tropical storm", while the infobox says "tropical depression". Which is correct? Testaccount0butwithrightemail (talk) 21:04, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Storm status was evolving rapidly, title was anticipatory while infobox was operationally accurate. "Tropical Storm" is current, for now (in the near future it will say "Hurricane"). Drdpw (talk) 21:39, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Too soon[edit]

For real, why is this an article? WP:TOOSOON and WP:CRYSTALThe Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 21:32, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected the article as WP:TOOSOON. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 22:02, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Litteraly every other hurricane article was created when the storm was a cat 1 or tropical storm Testaccount0butwithrightemail (talk) 23:36, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Testaccount0butwithrightemail: As of now Lee has no notability warranting a sub-article. All information is easily contained within the season article. The only reason Lee is getting attention right now is the social media hype over its potential intensity. Creating an article anticipating the system to be notable violates WP:CRYSTAL. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 01:42, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
