Not done: requests for decreases to the page protection level should be directed to the protecting admin or to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection if the protecting admin is not active or has declined the request. M.Bitton (talk) 21:20, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In the realm of Indian politics, controversies arise on a daily basis. It's unnecessary to include every single daily controversy or news item unless the individual in question has been convicted by the Indian Judiciary or has served a considerable amount of time in jail. Also, Having a separate controversies section in articles isn't ideal. Instead, the pertinent issues should be addressed within the relevant sections of the individual's career articles, rather than consolidating them into a section that may incite negativity. Criticism and controversies section will be trimmed heavily in due time. Do no revert or engage in edit wars. I would request editors to discuss here on talk page before adding them. Thank you. Looking at the deleted text, I see controversies involving multiple party members, rather than isolated incidents involving just one person at a time. As a result, it seems appropriate to include it in this article. I also note that there are only summaries here with links to main articles, which is also appropriate—and which indicates the depth of coverage. As a result, I have restored the page to the status quo ante condition until/unless consensus is reached to remove it. —C.Fred (talk) 17:37, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Change ideology: Adding Anti-Communism as party ideology Mr.Devon Starks (talk) 13:44, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think we've got a mess with the logo. The pre-existing one, File:AITC New Logo.png, is listed as uploader's own work, with the author being Election Commission of India. The one that there have been attempts to replace it with, File:All India Trinamool Congress logo (3).svg, is listed as VNC200's own work. If that's the case with the new logo, then we need VNC200 to declare their relationship with the party, whether they are a paid editor, and how they have sufficient rights over the image to give it away.
Even with the pre-existing logo, I think we may need a NFCC version at lower resolution, because I have concerns about that licensing tag. Thoughts from other editors? —C.Fred (talk) 17:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred: A lot of users upload files with improper licenses and attribution. I am willing to bet that both of those users declared their uploads as "Own work" just to avoid an immediate copyright strike. Yue🌙 03:22, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
