William Thomson - Lord Kelvin
Why is William Thomson identified as Lord Kelvin in this article when he was not knighted until 1866? I think it would give more honest description of the events and the protagonists if he was identified as "William Thomson (later Lord Kelvin)". He was relatively young man when he was involved in the transatlantic cable and calling him Lord Kelvin makes him sound like an old upper class crony who held the office because of his peerage, when in fact it is the other way round.
