Who says "Stronger than dirt"?[edit]

Article says Ray Manzeric says this, then later makes the claim that Jim Morrison said it... which one was it on the recording? L. Greg 17:29, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article tells us that Morrison says, "Stronger than dirt," but the voice does sound different from his voice in the rest of the song. —69.242.86.214 15:51, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, that was me saying, "I'll kick your butt harder than dirt." —Flatts 17:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jim Morrison is dead, so Flats must've kicked his butt real good! --Mark Lessig (talk) 14:49, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Stronger than dirt" said at the end of the song was the slogan for Ajax cleaner. The product's Wikipedia page has an unsourced citation of a lawsuit giving the company half of the song royalties. (Unlikely for a settlement to be that high for a short phrase if true.) This story was removed some time ago along with that Krieger had a black eye while performing the song on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. Colonial Computer 14:36, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Untitled[edit]

are there any more similar kind of songs with same classical music arrangement? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.97.8.68 (talk) 23:32, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

"The song frequently over a course of 3 years has gotten a huge airplay status on classic rock radio stations..." Surely that was meant to say 30 years, no? (Closer to 40 now, although I suppose it technically didn't qualify as "classic rock" until about 14 years ago, going by the 25-year rule.) I'll go ahead and make the change, assuming the zero was omitted.

Robby Krieger's eye[edit]

This article says Robby Krieger's black eye was a result of a fight with Jim Morrison. Jon Densmore says in an interview on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByMWIiiX5ko) that this is not true and he got it an a car accident. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.156.154.227 (talk) 22:54, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Personnel: Featured ToC sections vs pseudoheadings[edit]

My understanding is that with personnel credits, the Additional personnel lists don't need to be featured ToC sections, so I edited that accordingly, with what I believed was a valid edit summary. But it looks like FlightTime (talk · contribs) reverted my good faith edit without an edit summary, when anti-vandal tools such as Twinkle, Huggle and Rollback shouldn't be used to undo good faith edits without an appropriate edit summary, per WP:TWABUSE--73.128.144.218 (talk) 21:30, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
