I made some overall changes to the entry, including some clean-up work. I also removed the reference saying he was considered the greatest player to not be in the NFL Hall of Fame. The list of players not in the NFL includes some very good ones, and unless that can be backed up by a citation from a reputable source, that can't be allowed in the article. There are also some other things that need to have citations added, but they have not been removed as of yet (such as the SI cover). The documentation of his time at LSU also needs to be changed; it doesn't matter the rank of opposing teams that he played against, more about his particular career needs to be told.
I removed a lot of irrelevant and unsourced trivia but the article still needs a ton of work. Only problem is, there just isn't much information out there on this guy. Or at least not what you'd expect of someone with his achievements. Lizard (talk) 01:53, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
