Good article nomination[edit]

A commendable short article, but I'd suggest a couple of minor alterations. Explain American Football terms a bit more, I have no idea what the 1979 NFL draft is, or what interceptions or career sacks are. Also, if it can be expanded just a little bit, enough for the use of section headings to be appropriate, that would make it look a lot better. This is not essential though, if the current article covers everything already. Worldtraveller 09:25, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good article nomination II[edit]

I have no problem with the prose of this article and I would have promoted this article if it contained an image of Cousineau in the infobox.

Problem with the Tom Cousineau image, no PD or GFDL images avalible and the only image I found a magazine image that was later deleted as copyvio. No other images that isn't pure copyvio. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 00:57, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations! The image isn't absolutely necessary, but you might nevertheless consider using an image and giving a good fair use rationale.--Monocrat 00:45, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Potential GA review[edit]

This article is not up to GA standards in my opinion. The prose needs work, it needs slight expansion, sections, and a little work. I'm aware that not every article can be 20+ kbs but this is pretty short. If you disagree comment here and I'll give specific examples, if not I'll nominate it in a week. The page is on my wtatchloist now until this i sover so there's no need to contact me. Quadzilla99 12:53, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the article is a bit short. Also, the refs aren't formatted as they should be, and the first ref doesn't work. I suggest using Template:cite web. CAN 03:32, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sexual orientation[edit]

I've heard rumors that he is gay or bisexual, both of which are Wikipedia categories. Any truth to either rumor?

That he is the first homosexual to be ever drafted with the first pick is irrelevant. Why do not we say who was the first heterosexual to be ever drafted? As if being gay were something extraordinary and important to be in the first paragraph of the article. It should be deleted it, but I do not know where can I post my suggestion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.213.86.68 (talk) 19:23, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

The article is not broad and focused enough, lacks references in some areas where needed, and is overall not a very impressive article. As a result I'm removing its GA status. I don't see there being any objection. Wizardman 13:21, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
