  • "Tolkien worked for many years on the book, using a hand-drawn map on squared (not graph) paper, each 2cm square representing 100 miles" - I'm assuming this is the same map as part of which is shown in the image to the right. Except the map image's caption calls it graph paper. So is this a contradiction or two different maps?
Yes, two different maps. Clarified.
  • "The city of Minas Tirith (lower left) with its large encircling wall (the Rammas Echor) and the ruined city of Osgiliath astride the River Anduin nearby are shown but not labelled" - Maybe I'm just really misunderstanding this, but I can see the label of Minas Tirith clearly, and I think I see the one for Osgiliath as well.
Fixed.
  • Sources are reliable and formatted well enough, and my non-expert opinion is that the image licensing is good enough for GA.
Noted.
  • I'd recommend adding a sentence summarizing the derived maps section to the lead.
Added.

Looks good for GA status beyond that, placing on hold. Hog Farm Talk 18:50, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I think I've done all those. Chiswick Chap (talk) 20:07, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
