His IMDB page states he died of a liver ailment. So, was he murdered or did he die a natural death?

Agreed - both IMDB and this Wiki entry state he was a suspected murderer, not a victim. I don't believe this article should be flagged as part of the "Murdered Entertainers" collective. --Strmmrgrrl 18:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit* - Apparently more research needs to be done (before I open my big mouth more); according to "find a grave" entry : "Arrested for a 1978 murder and stabbed to death in an Austin jail while awaiting execution." Still sounds fishy to me.--Strmmrgrrl 18:10, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
