In 1957 he finished the Moscow State Conservatory after Tchaikovsky[edit]
Unless this means a competition, not likely to be Pyotr. After Boris Tchaikovsky, maybe? As a student of Boris Tchaikovsky? (Possibly. Dokschitzer was a student of Tabakov, apparently, but might also have been a student of one or another Tchaikovsky.)
