Unless this means a competition, not likely to be Pyotr. After Boris Tchaikovsky, maybe? As a student of Boris Tchaikovsky? (Possibly. Dokschitzer was a student of Tabakov, apparently, but might also have been a student of one or another Tchaikovsky.) He also premiered and recorded Mieczysław Weinberg's rarely-recorded trumpet concerto, I believe (link re premiere.) Schissel | Sound the Note! 00:06, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose the author meant neither a competition, nor a person. Just Moscow Conservatory's full official name: Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory . --Tuba Mirum (talk) 17:16, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
