"No events"?[edit]

@Rillington: Why do you insist on readding years when nothing happened and listing "no events"? A timeline is for events. If there's nothing to say about a subject, like in all articles, it's better to just not write anything. It seems to me, anyway. I'm willing to learn why that's wrong. @InedibleHulk: Thank you for not getting into an edit-war with me on this and, instead, for asking this question on the talkpage. The use of 'no events' for months and years when a notable event did not happen is an established format which has been accepted on Wikipedia for many years. Plus more notable events are always being identified and added so the number of 'no event' months/years diminishes over time. Rillington (talk) 02:22, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's certainly not been acceptable at the Timeline of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for any number of years, but is how Timeline of ITV rolls. I suppose it's one of those MOS:TIES deals and would call this a tie. Nice finally hearing from you and good to be reminded that my homeland is but one bubble; cheers!
