This is a pretty good article![edit]

I don't know the qualifications it takes to officially win Good Article status, but it strikes me as a good one. See, I'm not a Rush fan (as a musician, I have to respect their talents, but I don't necessarily enjoy them), and this article does a good job of portraying the song as being outside of all the Rush cliches. Actually, the key of B major and the time signature of 7/4 are not new to Rush by any means ... but working with a female pop singer is. It's fascinating to imagine Cyndi Lauper singing with Rush ... or Chrisse Hynde, for that matter (I think Hynde is a closet "prog rock" fan, anyway) ... but Aimee Mann is probably a better singer than either of them. As it is, I remember the song loosely, but don't remember any female vocals. I will have to go and have a listen.

If you ask me, EVERY article about ANY song should mention what key(s) and time signature(s) the song uses. I have added such info to various Pink Floyd articles, myself.

I just wanted to emphasize that this article is informative, short and to the point, and with a litle polishing (how about a box showing the sheet music for the main riff?) it could possibly BE awarded "Good Article" status!

Actually, I just improved the article recently, and there's still a lot of more info I going to be putting on here. But I would agree that this article could be improved up to good article status. EditorE (talk) 17:08, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
