Untitled[edit]

Fan of Tim Thomas here! I made a quick edit to the main page to reflect that he was born in Davison, Michigan, not Davidson, Minnesota. I collect the cards of a lot of former Detroit Vipers and have assembled the only possible complete collection of Tim's cards: http://pipsey.net:8080/~thegreatzo/players/players.html . Best of luck to him this year with the Bruins organization! The Great Zo 05:31, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No comment on his being succeeded by Tuukka Rask as Boston's starting goaltender? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.143.162.34 (talk) 14:15, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Conn Smythe Trophy is for Most Valuable Player in the Stanley Cup playoffs, not just the Finals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.112.224.63 (talk) 09:05, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch, I've corrected it. --Bongwarrior (talk) 09:21, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on 24 January 2012[edit]

To his politics section, the following quote should be added to clarify his objection to visiting the White House.

"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.

This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.

Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.

This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT"

I would support the addition of this quote as well; It adds context to his decision to be the only member of his team not in attendance at the White House reception.

Personal Life[edit]

His political statements are becoming more and more impactful on his career. Many are speculating that it will lead to a trade as the Bruins aren't in the mood to deal with this distraction, at some point the section on his "personal life" is going to have to grow, or be split into a "controversy" section.
