Naming this article Tiktinsky (Mir)[edit]

Of two Jewish-named encyclopedias, one bundles Shmuel (died 1835), his oldest son Avrohom (died separately, also 1835), and the second son into a single article. The other encyclopedia only has an article about the second son. The "bundling" seems like a better choice. Why not separate articles for each? The second son was only age 11 when, at different times in the same year, both his father and his oldest brother died.

There are two others to describe, before getting to son#2. Rather than duplicate much material in three articles, the "bundling" approach seems better.

Another detail: the anglicization for the family name can be Tiktinsky or Tiktinski. The former is used by Yad VaShem, YIVO and Kehilalinks, among others, and appears to be google's preference too. Pi314m (talk) 09:22, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
