The article is well written but I've added a 'noref' banner to draw attention to the fact that there are no inline citations. Information sources are provided in the article's footnote - maybe an editor who has access to these publications could insert relevant source citations.--Kudpung (talk) 07:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Three Choirs Festival Timeline dead link[edit]

I explored the dead link for the Festival timeline and discovered that it has been updated and renamed. I checked the Internet Archive and the main change seems to be a concatenation of multiple pages into a single page and the removal of links to specific dates. The original link went directly to an entry for the 18th century but now the reader must either scroll down or use Find In Page.

The dead URL is: http://www.3choirs.org/about-us/history/18th-century/ The replacement URL is: https://3choirs.org/about-us/history-of-the-three-choirs-festival/long-history/

I'm reluctant to try and make the edit myself (and my initial exploration seems to show that I lack the necessary permissions to make changes anyway, even if I knew exactly how to) so I'm going to leave things as they are, and hopefully an appropriate admin will read this and make whatever changes they deem suitable. Unclear sentence in article[edit]

The festival, originally held over two days in September (but also held in September in 1933 and 1947, since C. S. Lewis's brother Warren is known to have attended

Im not sure what this sentence is supposed to mean, both for the September references and to the link with CS Lewis' brother? Perhaps a rewrite required to clarify. Balbs (talk) 20:38, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It would perhaps help context if there were variations in the duration and when, mentioned. I wonder if the years Warren Lewis attended were unusual ones.Cloptonson (talk) 17:10, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
