Over the top

In an article on TW Sr, there is no need for a whole section debating the validity of Watson's supposed statement.

"Although Watson is well known for his alleged 1943 statement, "I think there is a world market for maybe five computers," there is scant evidence he said it." would suffice.

Yes, given the author, the claim is an entertaining thought but this is hardly the place for the extended examination of its authenticity.
