Classification[edit]

I did much of the work on this article and feel that it represents most of what information there is to get about Colonel Breslin. Given the era that he lived in and the overall scarcity of records from the Philippines, there are not many details left to be added. As is, the article is referenced, is formatted in a reasonable way, and has several photographs that add value. Of course, every article can be made better - I have listed some ideas below that would improve it. Brholden 19:14, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ideas for improving the article[edit]

  • If someone who lives in Cebu would find the mountain-top survey benchmarks and add a photo of his initials on one of them, it would add detail to the article.
  • If someone who lives in Cebu City would take a photograph of Brezlin Street and add it, it would make the article more tangible.
  • I have searched on-line for U.S. military records of the battle without luck. This is not surprising given the desparate combat during and eventual loss of the Battle of Bataan. However there is still hope that there are paper records remaining that could give exact date and details of his pinning and/or subsequent military action.
  • There might also be U.S. military records of where his body was buried the first time that could add specificity to the article.
  • If someone would add a photo of his grave at Fort William McKinley, it would add that reality to the article.
