Farrukh Nigar Aziz

Comment by 24.7.113.102 that was inserted into the article:

(Edit: This person is unknown in the arena of the performing arts or literature. To list her along with Manto, who is one of the best short story writers in Urdu, is incomprehensible).

I figured it was more appropriate on the talk page, so moved it here. Whitejay251 15:30, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Farrukh Nigar Aziz is nobody when it comes to theater of Pakistan. He ought to be removed. Yousufshakeel65 (talk) 23:34, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Cleanup

I've completed a basic cleanup: excising copyright violations and minor changes in the format to conform with wikipedia standards. This really needs to be looked over by someone who knows about the subject. It needs to be made one consistent article instead of a hodgepodge about different things relating to theatre in Pakistan. How the different sections relate to each other needs to be explained and the organizations and people mentioned need to be evaluated as to whether they really are the most notable for inclusion (see for instance the note above). This may require major rewriting, if not this article needs copyediting for grammar and word choice throughout. It also needs to be sourced. Whitejay251 22:00, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

I have deleted and cleaned up two sections which were more of advertisements. I am from Pakistan and from media industry. The information that I removed was pure garbage. Yousufshakeel65 (talk) 23:34, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Rewrite

This page definitely needs to be rewritten by an expert. The information is just randomly thrown into sections, and it is difficult to understand.

Urdu drama

Currently not much info about [1] Urdu drama exists in Wikipedia, despite the fact that it may be the most renowned theatre from Pakistan. Omnipaedista (talk) 16:43, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Should this article be deleted?

Much of the text is virtually incomprehensible. It "sounds" like material poorly translated directly from another source. It also sounds like promotional material, not historical-factual information. It has been sitting here, unimproved, apparently since September 2006. I have no knowledge/expertise for this area. Ed8r (talk) 22:36, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, I have nominated it for deletion. Jezhotwells (talk) 10:39, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
