Music video before there were music videos.[edit]
Dion did a music "video" of The Wanderer, 20 years before MTV came along. I've seen it once, on some talk show that had Dion on as a guest. It was in color and he was singing on an airplane with dancing stewardesses. (They weren't flight attendants back then.) IIRC, he said the record company didn't think films like that would catch on so they put it on a shelf... Would be interesting to know what those guys were thinking by 1982. Status Quo cover[edit]
Status Quo did a version some point in the 80s (but I don't know the details), probably a single - has a video of them performing it while going through a town (in Britain) on the back of a flatbed tr& the reactions of members of the public watching them from the high street. 109.224.137.121 (talk) 21:29, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
