Bob’s USA performances of The Vegetarians of Love[edit]
In 1990 Bob Geldof assembled a band of local prominent New York City musicians to perform his newly released album “The Vegetarians of Love” in the hopes it would stimulate interest for MTV to add it, and showcase the American market music business moguls. The band consisted of pianist Rick Bottari, a fiddle player, an accordion player and Bob. They performed at the New York City venue Tommy Makem’s Irish Pavillion, and on the syndicated live radio show Mountain Sound. 148.74.116.80 (talk) 16:12, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
