Tory Exhibiting Superhuman Strength?

It's not 100% clear to me [thus I haven't posted any edits yet] and I'll have to review some screen-captures -- when Ms. Foster backhands Cally, does she [Cally] fly back an abnormally far distance from the blow, or is that just irregular filming? Sskoog (talk) 23:49, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Self-response to posts is bad form, I know... but frame-capture seems to indicate Cally flies backward 12+ feet (two body-lengths?), I'd call that superhuman. It's viewable (for a very short time) at http://www.gweep.net/~sskoog/bsg_tory_foster_superhuman_strength.png Sskoog (talk) 03:12, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I thought they were just using Hollywood physics via clever editing in that backhand fall back. Jon (talk) 17:39, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This certainly wouldn't be the first time a Cylon has demonstrated greater than normal strength. Take a look at the first season episode Flesh and Bone, where a number 2 is able to break his handcuffs. 98.164.64.171 (talk) 03:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's why I initially brought it up. Repeated freeze-frames lead me to believe that Cylon super-strength *is* being discovered/used here. Seems to fit in with the next-episode teaser where Tory says something to the tune of "We're made to be perfect, better than perfect" or equivalent. Am keeping the 'superhuman' reference in for now. Orion[edit]

I think any references to star patterns should include both a real life photo of it and a picture from the show. If it were intentional (doubtful) it would indicate that wherever that location is roughly along the same line as Earth realtive to that constellation. Jon (talk) 17:51, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Feigning aggravation?[edit]

"Feigning her aggravation, Roslin says she will make amending the order a priority at the next meeting." It appears that she is aggravated, and that she feigns her intention to bring the matter to the Quorum. The podcast for the episode supports this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.182.141.21 (talk) 06:47, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
