Yserbius.org advertisment and general clean-up request[edit]

This article's tone is very informal, it could use a sidebar, the individual sections are too short, and so I've requested a general clean-up of the article. I'll be working on rewriting it over the next week or so.

In addition, while the recreation of the tavern is an awesome thing, the line "Yserbius.Org has recently placed the Tavern back in service. Fans and former players can now chat in the Tavern once more. Please visit Yserbius.Org for more detail" may be innapropriate for an encyclopedia entry. Specifically, it violates the 'Wikipedia is not an advertising service' guideline. For more information, see Wikipedia:Spam.
I contend that we should rewrite the 'Tavern' section, and move the information about the recreation of the tavern into the external links section. If there isn't any dissent, I'll go ahead and do it in a few days. --FarFromHomeFish 14:31, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've moved the Yserbius.org information into a generic 'remakes' section, giving it top billing (As it is the only remake to currently have an available beta test, though I haven't personally visited it). --FarFromHomeFish 18:27, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like there's only one person working on this page, creating the issue with the page, and fixing it themselves. Actually, the 'Wikipedia is not an advertising service' guideline is mute since the Wiki allows you to have links to sites and pages outside of the wiki. Besides, FarFromHomeFish, the online tavern is not online at Yserbius.org, due to lack of funds (or interest). Being a former TSN'r, I really miss TSN/INN... but no one has ever replaced that INN-feel. I think that the better edit would be to simply list a link to each attempt to provide a Tavern online, and (in the wiki equivalent to an HTML ALT) provide a short current description. -- formerly Aargh, dwarf barbarian, of TSN Yserbius. Currently playing Ys offline via the download from Yserbius.org. --15:15, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Actually, the Tavern is up and running at Yserbius.org. I've made a few corrections to the page as well. Hail all and well Met. DarkSunz 21:48, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
